JRA – Sound Solutions!
One of the 2011 success stories for JRA Aerospace has been the design, development and manufacture of efficient and cost-effective noise suppression systems for use on military helicopters whilst work is carried out on the ground. Airworthiness Support
During 2010 JRA has provided Continuing Airworthiness support to some of the leading UK military project teams. Using the ADCT (Aircraft Data Configuration Tool) software and specialist knowledge of the user’s engineering domain, we have kept our customers fully supported. Both Rotary and Fixed Wing aircraft operators have continued to rely on JRA Aerospace for the development of their databases as well as training.more
Bespoke Noise Suppression Systems
JRA Aerospace commenced work on a tailor-made solution for one of our customers who was having a problem with noise levels whilst running rotary wing aircraft systems during maintenance work. A bespoke noise reduction system was designed by the JRA team in conjunction with SITEC (our group partners) and work commenced on developing the prototype devices. This major project will include the manufacture of multiple sets of sound reduction systems to ensure that the aircraft technicians are able to carry out essential work in safety.more
